All Class Benefits

  • Outstanding Performance Bonus: Athletes representing HKAT who win medals in major competitions will receive a cash award as follow
    National
    Asian
    World
  • Annual Event Bonus: Athlete with highest score in each individual event will receive $500
  • Record-Breaking Bonus:
    Hong Kong Record- Athlete $2000, Coach $1000
    U18 or U20 Hong Kong Record- Athlete $1000, Coach $500

Elite (A)

Criteria

  • Current Hong Kong record holders (U20 or U18 Hong Kong record holders)
  • Athletes who have participated in Asian-level or higher competitions within the past two years
  • Current Hong Kong team members
  • Athletes ranked in the top ten in Hong Kong for their event

At least one of the above conditions must be fulfilled.

Benefit

  • A complimentary WAC Jacket, Tee, competition vest
  • Exempt from the registration fee for membership of the Hong Kong, China Athletics Association(HKAAA)
  • Subsidize the enrollment fees for all HKAAA-organized events and co-organized age-group competitions throughout the year.：$2000 (Maximum Grant)

Performance (B)

Criteria

Group Senior：

  1. Must represent the WAC in at least two (2) recognized competitions
  2. Achieved a top-eight finish in track events in this year’s or last year’s competitions, or Ranked in the top sixteen in two (2) road races

Group Youth（U20 or under）:

  1. Must represent the WAC in at least four (4) recognized competition
  2. Achieve 3 Times top-eight finishes in track events or 2 Times top-sixteen finishes in road races during this year or last year’s competitions

Athlete must fulfil all the above criteria.

Remark: top sixteen for 100m and 200m

Benefit

  • A complimentary WAC Tee, competition vest
  • Exempt from the registration fee for membership of the Hong Kong, China Athletics Association (HKAAA)
  • Subsidize the enrollment fees for all HKAAA-organized events and co-organized age-group competitions throughout the year.：$1200 (Maximum Grant)

Development (C)

Criteria

Become a member of the WAC through recommendation by a WAC coach or physical education (PE) teacher

Benefit

  • A complimentary WAC competition vest
  • Re-category every year base on athlete’s past performance. Please notify us for renew your information or membership if necessary.
  • Athlete must wear WAC uniform when attend the competition and prize presentation.
  • Absentee with no reasons must pay double enrollment fee for administration charge.
