Introduction

The “WAC Annual Challenge” is a sanctioned competition by Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates (HKAAA). The race is one of the signature events of WAC and has been held every year since 2009.

The aim of WAC Annual Challenge is to provide the opportunity for youth in pursuit of the high performance standard. The events of Annual Challenge according to athlete’s gender and 6 different age categories to compete in total of 13 track events, 6 field events and 2 relay events.

With the commitment of nurturing children sports development, we have been organising the “Kids’ Athletics Challenge” since 2012. The principle of competition rules and events are based on IAAF Kids’ Athletics Programme.

To achieve a higher standard of athletics competition with professional referee service by HKAAA, the venue of WAC Annual Challenge was changed to Wan Chai Sports Ground in 2016.

Registration Notes:
1. According to the instructions from HKAAA, only affiliated clubs and schools are eligible to register for this competition, except for Kids Athletics. Other registrations will not be accepted.

2. Each club and school may only submit one registration for each athlete. In the case of duplicate submssions or multiple individual entries, WAC reserves the right to cancel the registrations without prior notice.

3. Due to system limitations, each registration form can accommodate a maximum of 200 athletes. If you need to register more than 200 athletes, please submit an additional registration form.

4. During registration, for the Team Name(English):
Affiliated clubs should use their abbreviation (E.g. WAC)
Schools must provide their full offcial name.
If there is an error, a fee of $50 per missing number bib will be chargedfor reissuance.

5. The relay team name can be chosen freely, but it must not be duplicated to avoid system recognition issues.

6. Once registration is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable.

7. Each event has a “maximum quota” and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close once the quota is full.

8. If athletes outside the top eight require a certificate, please apply at the result room on-site and pay a fee of HKD $20
